After several server "hick ups" my blog is now back online ! Well, it never got offline, but dreamhost is not so generous on RAM and my blog was asking for more and more, thus I had to move it. I still think dreamhost is a nice place for hosting your stuff but I am sure you know that, at some point, you might need something more dedicated to your business... So my blog is now running on my own server, I also upgraded it to the latest typo (from 4.0.3 to 5.4.1) and it feels good to be able to type here again without fearing crashes....

1 day later:
Just a quick question: why 5.4.1 and not 5.4.3? (please answer by email, I'm really interested by this)

@Frederick
The reason is simple, when I first attempted the upgrade, 5.4.1 was the latest. but I had so much trouble running a Rails app on that particular host, I never succeeded. Its only when I moved my blog to a new server that I could finally make it work. At that time, I moved my blog as is, without upgrading to 5.4.3 or even looking if a new release was available.
today ! I upgraded to 5.5. flawlessly. thank you

This video is hilarious. Thanks for posting. I have a hard time finding a server that supports the space I need for my blog. Was it difficult to set up your own server? It seems like that would be an expensive endeavor.
