If you are visiting Hikone city in Shiga-ken Japan. Make sure you pay a visit to my very good friend Akiyan. He own’s the Foolish Club. It's a little place but it's a great time guaranteed.
From the Hirata-cho corner, walk south 50-100 meters (opposite way from Family Mart) and it's on the left side of the street. A white sign. You really can't miss it.
Also, if you visit him. Please tell him I recommended you there. He will be happy to know it and hear about me.

Oh My God. I am just unbelievably impress by the chef-d'oeuvre I've assist to tonight. Some of you might know, Spiderman 3 was coming out in Japan first in the world. May 1st instead of May 5th. Plus 13 hours ahead on New York.... Usually Hollywood movies are a little bit late in Japan but not this time.
So I went out and watch it tonight. I know I could potentially get tons of hit writing a full review. But like the last time I wrote about a movie I can't help myself but to keep the suspense to the viewer, to you.
Let's just say one thing. It is perfect. Well, THE u.s. flag was a bit cheesy for my taste but apart from that... All the scene are following each other like a comic book. Each scene hits you right where it needs and there is no wait. it's pack of pure content. And if you got yourself into some kind of revenge/forgiveness problems, it might help you teaching yourself a good lesson. Well, I hope so! God save your heart "pauvre pecheur".
Lucky I am, I'm in Japan. And Japan's movie theaters got a store selling bunch of stuff that would take months in America to be released. So I went ahead and, like a real fan, got myself stickers, a poster and translucent file-folder.
Seriously I had really high expectation, which is usually a bad thing because it only brings disappointment. but this time, Hell no, my expectation has been surpassed on all measure. Whatever it takes, go see it on the big screen. And don't bother with the popcorn, you won't be able to keep your mouth shut one second.

Je devrais probablement d'abord introduire YAB.
YAB c'est un Pub, Sports Bar a Hikone, Shiga. La ville ou j'habite. Le Pub a ouvert ces porte a l'automne passe (2006) au début des série éliminatoire du mondial de soccer. Depuis, j'y vais assez régulièrement et j'y rencontre beaucoup de gens intéressants. Le propriétaire du Pub s'appelle Yabu, le son 'u' étant plutôt muet en japonais, le nom du bar est devenu YAB.
Ce soir, j'ai eu une grosse soirée. Je suis arrivé du travaille vers les 23h. Je suis arrivé a la station de train Hikone a 22h20, mais le prochain train pour Minami-Hikone étais a 23h11, pas question d'attendre, j'ai décidé de marcher. Une autre personne était dans la même situation, alors je n'ai pas eu a marcher seul.
Il s'appelle Kenshiroh, il viens de Nagoya et étudie en biologie a l'université de Nagahama, (45 minutes de voiture de chez moi) Il habite parcontre, très près de chez moi. Donc nous avons marcher ensemble, environ 50 minutes. Nous sommes arriver a la station de train Minami-Hikone en même temps que le train, sauf que nous avons marcher plutôt que d'attendre. beaucoup mieux. Ça me donne une bonne indication, j'habite a 40 minutes a pied de la station Hikone, c'est bon a savoir.
ensuite, je devais répondre a mes courriels, j'ai téléphoné (skype) les bureau de permis de conduire de la Colombie-Critanique, de l'Alberta et du Québec afin de recueillir les papiers nécessaire pour me procurer un permis de conduire japonnais. une bonne affaire de faites, ensuite j'avais de très important chat a entretenir concernant le travail. mettons, meeting non-stop de 23h30 - 2h30 am.
a 2h30, je n'étais pas vraiment fatiguer, donc je suis aller au Pub YAB. a 3h30 (19h30 in UK) une partie de soccer entre le manchester et milan (Italie) débutait. vers 4h, une 15 aines de personne sont arriver. on a eu bien du fun. J'avais également décider t'apporter mon ordinateur portable. et j'ai créer la base d'un projet de site web que j'avais en tète depuis plusieurs jours. en quelques heures j'ai réussi a n'en faire beaucoup. Je vais probablement retourner au Pub pour y travailler prochainement.
me voila donc de retour. 6h30, je travail a partir de 15h, j'ai un meeting avec mon boss a 14h, je dois aller au salon international avant ça. je devrait surment dormir un peu. me voila a 7h du matin avec un dilem.

I live around Minami Hikone station, where the city is at his busiest, I believe. Usually, shots of Hikone are only showing the Castle and Castle road. So here it is for you, a more regular/normal view of what is japan country side in hikone shiga.

Dralion - Cirque du Soleil au Japon

C'est officiel, je vais aller a mon premier show du Cirque du Soleil. Ça fait un peu drôle d'aller aussi loin qu'au Japon pour voir une troupe de cirque originaire du Québec. Mais bon, ils sont les meilleurs et je n'y suis jamais aller auparavant, même si J'y ai rêvé depuis si longtemps.
Les billets sont acheter le tout est décidé, il ne reste plus qu'a attendre. Le problème c'est qu'il faut attendre encore longtemps. On y va le Lundi 27 Aout. Le show est a Osaka, la deuxième plus grosse ville du Japon. C'est à 1h15 et 15$ en train de chez moi.
J'ai très hâte, voici l'affiche publicitaire qui m'a si facilement et automatiquement convaincu. J'ai pris une photo de l'affiche et j'ai acheter les billets en arrivant a la maison.

La toilette Japonaise : Fonction massage

Aujourdhui jai remarquer les bouton "move" et "massage" sur la toilette et je les ai experimenter pour la permiere fois aujourdhui.
Seul, ils ne font rien, mais lors que tu choisie "anus fort", "anus doux" ou "bidet", ce sont des petit modifier. En faites, massage est possiblement plus pour la femme, jai pas trop sentie de difference. Le "move" parcontre est interressant, allant d'avant en arriere. Je me sens propre.

So I have finally been there, again. I was not too sure, since I knew it would be very similar but just busier then Nagoya. But Mihoko could not come to Nagoya, so she had not tried the Wii yet, poor girl. And I convincer her. Plus I really wanted to try few more games to help get my mind set on what to buy.
Actually there is something I think I forgot to tell you about Nagoya. I think I already told you I went to Nagoya by train or maybe some photos I took told you so. But there is one little thing I forgot to say, Is how many DS I saw in the Train. Although I had to cross two prefectures, from Minute One, I saw kids playing with the DS in the Train. I mean, there is always bunch of people with cellphones, PSP and DS. but that day. it was impressive. Closer I was getting to Nagoya, more DS, geeks and even female geeks are boarding the train. This was cool to see. Girls playing DS in the train have a different dress code. I'll let your imagination craving and not say more.

Bonjour tout le monde, ça fait un petit bout de temps que je vous ai laissé sans nouvelle. Et un grand bout de temps que je vous ai pas gaté avec de nouvelles photos. Et ben voici, aujourdhui j'ai pris le temps de faire le menage dans mes affaires. pis jai toutes mis mes photos (que je n'avais pas mis en ligne), ensemble et en ordre de date.
En tout 660MB de photos et de court videos. Apparemment un total de 667 objects, ce qui n'est pas si énorme au fond, mais ca devrais vous occupé pendant un bout de temps.

Au fond c'est toutes mes photos que j'ai prisent depuis Juin. Plus quelques photos de Mai que j'avais oubliez. A part celle que j'avais déjà mis en ligne tel que mes [photos d'Aout à Okinawa]().
J'aimerais beaucoup écrire à propos de chaque photo mais je n'ai malheureusement ni le temps ni la patience. Alors voici en résumé.
Ce dimanche le 5, Mihoko et Moi avons été à Nara. Une très belle ville, tres culturelle, c'est l'ancienne capital du Japon. Avant Tokyo et avant Kyoto. Donc beaucoup d'histoire, de temple et de sculture.
Le Fameux Nintendo World 2006 de Nagoya. La j'ai pu essayer en grand primeur le Nouveau Nintendo Wii et Visité juste un tout petit peu, la ville de Nagoya.
Quelques Photos à propos de la culture du riz au Japon.
Visite d'un Temple Shinto (Tagadaisha) pres de là ou j'habite. Suivit par une randonée nature at Inukamikawa.

Nintendo World 2006 in Nagoya, Japan

So, last Friday I realized a long time dream I had. Going to a video game expo, in Japan. It's one of those reasons I'm in Japan, and Nagoya is only 1h15 and 1620 yen of train away, how could I not go.
The event was from 9am to 4pm and I was pretty excited so I took the train as early as possible. Going there was pretty easy, even though it was my first time visiting Nagoya. I got there around 9h30, had breakfast at the station and the first train on Aonami line was leaving at 10am. so It was a perfect timing. 10h30, I was sure inside. That's about the best I could do.
First thing I learned when I got inside... They were giving away 100 Wii to the visitors. We receive some kind of lottery number when we arrive and we can check if we have a winner number as we leaves. Now I was excited, hehe...

Justbudget in Japanese

I kept it secret until today, but as some of you might know already. Justbudget has been translated in Japanese. I put the translation file on Oct 15th. If you see any mistakes, please submit them to me, I'll make sure it get corrected. And today I have another great surprise toward Japanese support in Justbudget. I finally fixed the 3dpie graph so it can display Japanese properly. I tried numerous attempt in the past year and I never could fine the proper combinaison to make everything work.
Probably the same bug was present with Chinese, Korean, etc. So the fix should do it for all. Unfortunately I can only test Japanese on my computer. So if you got category written in Japanese or any other Language, it should display fine in the flash chart.

Good movies : Densha Otoko and What the Bleep Do We know?

I recently phoned my best friend and telling her about that movie that I saw recently. From a cinematographic point of view, it ain't a chef-d'oeuvre. But it's still very interesting and worth seeing. Actually I don't like giving to much details about a movie so I'm gonna be brief. Just like I'm not a movie preview or review fan, I won't give the story away.
I was talking about What the Bleep Do We know? [ 1 ] [ 2 ]
Because I am in Japan and the movie is kinda craz, She ask me if it was Japanese, no it is not but that made me thought of another excellent but totaly different movie I saw recently. and this one IS Japanese. Densha Otoko.
And Apparently, "The film was shot in 25 days, then released into cinemas only 35 days later.".

Les toilettes au Japon

J'en ai deja parler au par avant. La salle de toilette (a ne pas confondre avec la salle de bain), toujours place au nord, elle est consider la piece la plus sale et degueulasse. ceci dit, a chaque fois que j'y vais ca sent toujours etonnament bon et reste extremement propre. serieusement, jai jamais sentie de truc pareil au paravant.
typhoon and other natural catastrophes

As some of you might already know, Japan has been hit by a typhoon this weekend. The typhoon travelled from east to west on the pacific ocean, hit kyushu, the southern most main japanese island (ie: excluding okinawa), causing a train to fall on the side and killing three people. Then it travelled north into Japan see and stayed away enough from Japan to not cause anymore trouble. but how strong was the wind, crazy. definitely my first time watching something like this. I don't know how much time I spent looking through the window at the wind and the clouds going. You know sometimes you can see clouds moving and you can predict in which directions they are going? well, that night you definitely did not need to be a psychik. The clouds were going FAST. it was very impressive.
later on in the weekend we started installing poles on top of furnitures. the pole goes from the top of the furniture and touch the ceil. It prevents furniture from falling down during earthquakes. never saw one of those either before. clearly, Japan as way more natural catastrophe than Canada. I know nobody likes it, but I'm excited to see everything.
And after seeing what Japan did over the past years to recover catastrophe, I think we should all get more of those, remember how week we are and how strong we need to hold on to each other.
Le Cultivateur de riz

Ca n'arrete pas le developement de personalites. Apres l'homme-grenouille et l'acheteur compulsif, je deviens maintenant le cultivateur de riz. C'est de le temps de la recolte ici au Japon, j'ai donc aider les parents a Mihoko. Beaucoup de travail a faire en peu de temps. Mais vraiment plaisant. Ca fait du bien de se coucher et d'etre fatiguer physiquement, et non pas seulement mentalement.
Ils ont trois champ de riz. L'un ne sera pas pres avant quelque semaines encore (wooohoo). Les deux premiers champs produiront quelque 65 sacs de 30 kilos. Pas mal, mais apparamment c'est peu comparer a l'annee derniere. Si je suis toujours ici l'an prochain, j'ai bien l'intention de les aiders a doubler la production.
J'ai pris un tas de photos de l'equipement et tout, malheureusement je ne crois pas etre sur aucune des photos. Je tacheterai de faire un effort la prochaine fois.
Je sais que vous vouliez plus de details, mais je vais attendre de mettre les photos en ligne. En gros, c'est genial et tres different de ce que je pouvais imaginer. La plantation, les machines, et tout. Et cest vraiment gratifiant de travailler directement pour obtenir son manger. Surtout de cette qualite.
Franchement, leur riz est le meilleur que j'ai manger. Ca fait toujours un peu bizzard d'aller au restaurant et de goutter la difference. Et Bientot, on mangera le Nouveau Riz !!! Ye Ye Ye.
On va commencer a prendre les commandes, si jamais vous aimereriez que le meilleur riz du monde vous soit livré.
Sapporo achete Sleeman

C'est le troisieme evenement dont jai connaissance qui ressere les liens entre le Canada et le Japon depuis que je suis au Japon. En Juin, la double imposition des travailleurs Canadien au Japon a ete Aboli. Et Junichiro Koizumi, Premier Ministre du Japon a visite Harper.
Maintenant c'est Sapporo, la troisieme plus grosse company de biere du Japon qui achete la troisieme plus grosse company de biere du Canada. Si j'ai bien compris, certain produits Sapporo etaient deja distribuer au Canada par l'entremise de Sleeman. Apres que Sleeman s'est annoncer a vendre plus tot cette annee, Sapporo a decide de renforcir ses liens en s'appropriant le tout. La compagnie telle qu'on la connait au Canada ne devrait pas changer d'un poil, mis a part qu'un peu plus de produits Japonnais se retrouvera sur les tablettes au Canada. Des produits delicieux comme la Sapporo Draft, la Sapporo Lager, la Sapporo Classic et de haute quality tel que Yebisu ma prefere et Yebisu Black. Une transaction de 400 millions de dollars Canadien (CBC news).
Mais le meilleur dans tout ca, non seulement la Sleeman se retrouvera au Japon. Mais puisque Sleeman a fait l'acquisition de Unibroue il y a de ca quelques annees. Les produits Unibroue devraient egalement etre disponible. Et *ca*, c'est genial !!!

Donc je reviens a l'instant de ma premiere experience en plonger sous-marine. Tout exciter je voulais appeller tout le monde, mais comme il es 1h30am a Quebec je vais m'en tenir a mon blog;)
A Okinawa comme vous pouvez vous l'imaginer, l'eau etait clair comme du crystal. il y avait enormement de poisson et de toute les couleurs. jai pris une etoile de mer dans mes mains et jai nourri des poisson depuis le fond de mer. je suis descendu a environ 20m. pour une premiere fois cest pas mal je crois. cetais vraiment genial. tout les poisson que lon voit dans les zoo/aquarium et les films y ete present. meme Nemo, sa grande amie et bien de ses semblables etaient present.
jai pris des photos, mais je sais pas encore si elles vont etre bonne. Demain deja, les vacances sont fini, je doit retourner. mais je ne travail pas avant lundi. je veux bien entendu refaire de la plonger a nouveau. je crois pouvoir en faire a Fukui, cest a seulement 2h de route de chez moi. La semaine prochaine?
hahahaha.... Ah oui, si jamais vous allez a Okinawa et vous chercher des gens sympatique pour pratiquer la plonger. nous sommes vraiment bien tomber. un jeune couple de passionner qui run leur business. ils sont suent vraiment bien expliquer et nous guider vers des truc super cool dans le fond de l'eau. demandez moi si vous chercher je vous donnerai leur numero. (japonnais seulement parcontre).

Le tour d'Okinawa

Jusqu'à aujourd'hui Je n'avais toujours pas eu la chance de conduire, depuis que je suis au Japon. Au cas ou vous ne le saurez pas je suis présentement en voyage à Okinawa. Les iles tropicales du Japon. Oui, je suis en voyage, en voyage ;) hahaha.
Nous sommes arrivés dimanche en soirée, nous nous sommes promenez en ville un peu et avons profiter de l'hotel pour notre premiere nuit. Le lendemain, bien evidemment la PLAGE !!! hahahaha. Une eau turquoise, salée bien a point. Genial.
Mardi nous avons visité le chateau Shiru-jo. et avons marcher dans la ville de Naha.
Aujourd'hui mercredi, nous avons décidé de louer une voiture. Première conduite a gauche avec le volant a droite, le flacheur a droite et les wipper a gauche... melant. heureusement, la pedalle de gaz reste a droite ;) Donc nous avons conduit autour de l'ile principale d'okinawa. On a visité l'aquarium, la où il y a la plus grosse tank d'eau au monde. vraiment impressionnant.
baigner dans la mer, et retour a l'hotel ... journee banal quoi !!!
souper a un izakaya pres de l:hotel et pouff au lit. enfin, toujours incapable de dormir, je suis la a ecrire. mais bon,... si jamais vous etes tout melanger dans les jours parce qu'il nest que mercredi matin chez vous. garder en tete que je suis plusieurs heures a lavance et que pour moi, le mercredi, il est bien derriere.
oui on a pris des photos, mais ya fallu sabstenir, jai oublier mon chargeur. va falloir sacheter un appareil jetable demain "%"#%#&$&#"$"%#%&"... les photos ne sont toujours pas en ligne et ne le seront que dimanche, probablement.
passer une belle journee, je saute au lit.
justbudget: small update

Hello everybody, thanks for reading and thanks for using justbudget. It's very sad I don't have more time to put on this project because I really enjoy every minute I am putting on it. It became very pretty and very stable in my humble opinion. Well, at least I don't have much problem with it. If you do, you would tell me, right?

Today I've learned about one of the most interesting Japanese electronic device ever. (So much interesting I should be writing this in french as well. although, I'm too lazy.)
The Bowlingual. A dog-language to japanese language translator. Now available in the US, this device is apparently not only able to convert barks into feelings but also writes japanese and really convert it into meaning.
I was watching a show where few Japanese people went to the US to track wolf and test this device. (as far as I could understand). They found guys specialized in tracking wolves to be led to them. The main guy could imitate the wolf call so wolves would "answer"... thus recording it and translating what wolves says.
While I am here, I should say I much television was interesting tonight. I was just coming back from class and this program was starting where they were testing peoples dogs against thieves. Rather interesting. A "thief" visited 100 houses, trying to get in the house even though a dog was present. The thief was offering steaks to the dog in order to calm it down. Although, in a few cases, it was not necessary: one dog simply start masturbating on the thief's leg. Another one, looking bored just walked away. Another one, excited as hell just ran around, hit the some pole, finally got scared and ran away. Most dogs simply accepted the meat and start eating slowly. The "thief" entered 84 houses of the 100s. It was very interesting to see the few dogs who not only refused to meat but bark at the meat although next to their nose to finally push away the thief. but 16%, what kinda of score is this? Would your accept the meat? You maybe taught your dog to bark at stranger but did you taught him to refuse food from stranger as we do with our kids and candies? Very interresting, I really wonder how dogs in US/Canada/Quebec/Europe/Australia would succeed.
Following to that was another test. They found 10 girls, rather quiet and conservatives to invite a bad guy, "a street-gang boss" (fake) at her home. Having him to ask the father her for wife. Being really impolite. No japanese rules applied here ;) It was funny as hell to see how the guy was talking and stuff. Sad I could not understand it all. The program ended being not so interresting, the shown the 3 most interresting. I think they probably cut the best part but all in all, the idea was very interesting.
I wish everybody would know how interrestingly different the television in Japan is. Although, I still think it's a useless leasure, the cultural aspect is very strong.

Et Pour les interresser... le nouveau model de Panasonic. Tout frais Juin 2007... le P904i ... Franchement, si je n'avais pas acheter mon W51H je pencherais surment pour ce nouveau Panasonic.... quoique le nous W52H est egalement sortie..... un choix difficile.
